In Our Classroom: High School Edition (March 2015)

In Our Classroom In Our Classroom: Weekly updates on what days in our kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school homeschool classroom look like.

The last several weeks have been a whirlwind of activity.

In addition to regular dance classes, drama, and schoolwork, Kaitlyn has had extra rehearsals for both her ballet company’s performance of Cinderella and their upcoming Regional Dance America trip at the end of the month. With performance week, a brief spring break, and several out of town trips, just the basics have been getting done in academics these last two or three weeks.

These seasons remind me that the flexibility and freedom to adjust our schedule to life is one of the major advantages of homeschooling for our family! I’m still looking forward to settling back down into a slightly less busy routine and focusing on our academics and getting the house in order for the rest of the spring.

Check last month’s update for more details on the academics in our high school classroom, and watch for more next month. Next, I’ll share what’s happening in junior high.
