Fresh Line Dried Linens!

I love, love, love, line dried bed linens!

I’m a little bit lazy about hanging out other stuff, especially when the temps are 100+, but the only time my sheets and blankets go in the dryer is if it’s raining (not likely around here lately). I LOVE the fresh smell and feel of sheets fresh off the line. It almost makes me want to change my sheets every day (okay….not quite)!

I also tend to hang out anything that has stains….usually food stains and drips on my 3 year old’s shirts, or occasionally….baby leakage….on the baby’s clothes. A few hours on a nice sunny day does wonders to make clothes look fresh and bright again.

Everything just feels so fresh and clean straight off the clothesline. When fall weather finally rolls back around, I’ll start hanging more of our other laundry out too….but I enjoy my fresh off the clothesline sheets year round!

  1. Oh that's a good one!! I love wind dried sheets too!!!! They smell ever so good, don't they? Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love those too! But here in the city I can't have a line!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I love lined-dried items too. Here is it either raining or the humidity is too high for the clothes to dry. That means I have about two weeks in the early spring and two weeks in the early fall that I can hang clothes. lol

  4. Ooooh, no, not this time of year! I have miserable allergies, and line dried sheets in August would put me in the hospital.Okay, normally, I couldn't agree more ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Oh, I'd give anything to have a yard so that I could line dry sheets and clothes again. Sigh. Someday. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. And line dried towels are great for exfoliating :)I agree love line dried sheets.

  7. I've always wanted to hang dry clothes…I've never done it!I'm glad my twitter post helped you out!! Your blog is absolutely adorable! Good luck with twitter…. it's addicting and so much fun!

  8. I remember helping my grandmother hang her laundry out on the line to dry when I was a kid and it was really nice! Too bad we live somewhere that even if we were allowed to have clotheslines, you wouldn't want to have your laundry dry outside.

  9. We're not "allowed" to have a clothesline in our neighborhood either, but I got one the "umbrella" type ones & we put it in a spot where it's pretty hidden. So far no one has said anything.
